Jose Manuel León

Jose Manuel León is a musician and producer. Born in Algeciras, Cádiz, he starts playing the guitar at the age of 13. His first teacher was his father, a professional guitarist.

The flamenco atmosphere around him triggered his early debut three years later, performing with diverse flamenco ensembles all over Andalusia.

Jose has collaborated with artists such as José el Francés, Niña Pastori, Alejandro Sanz (El tren de los momentos), Pastora Soler, Miguel Angel Rodriguez, Queco, Gerardo Nuñez trío and Carmen Linares, Rafael Estévez, Nani Panos, Joaquín Grilo. He took part in the film “Iberia” by the director Carlos Saura with Gerardo Nuñez Trio, interpreting “Almería”.
