ArteCombo

The name of the wind quintet ArteCombo reflects
its core identity: the fusion and combination
of the arts in its projects. Founded in 2007, the
quintet’s aim is to innovate and surprise, both in
the repertoire it plays and in the unusual venues in
which it performs. Its excellence and homogeneity
stood out at the 6th ‘Henri Tomasi’ International
Wind Quintet Competition in Marseille, where it
was awarded 2nd prize.
The five musicians, all graduates of the Paris
Conservatoire, are committed to perpetuating the
tradition of arrangements, but also to bringing
the composers of their time to the fore. Their
recordings bear witness to this commitment:
Carnet de route (Bechara El-Khoury, Jean-
Philippe Calvin, Tomoyuki Hisatome), Caravane
gazelle, Souffles et Matières (Olivier Calmel),
Trois (arrangements by ArteCombo), Les
Correspondances with the ensemble L A R G E
(Christophe Panzani, Vincent Peirani, Quatuor
Voce). Their performances combine music, text and
direction in their musical tales Broadway

Rhapsody (with Cyrille Dubois and Michaël
Ertzscheid) and Sarukami (text in Japanese).
An acclaimed quintet, ArteCombo has been
invited to perform at numerous festivals (Flâneries
de Reims, Festival de Sully et du Loiret, Musique
à la Ferme, Estivales de Puisaye, Nuits Musicales
de Bazoches, etc.) and has collaborated with
renowned artists. ) and collaborates with renowned
artists (Henri Demarquette, David Walter,
Jonathan Fournel, David Grimal, Raphaël Sévère,
Kerson Leong, Quatuor Ardeo, Quatuor Akilone,
Quatuor Yako). Since 2010, ArteCombo has worked closely with
Concerts de Poche on a number of projects,
including the Orchestre des Concerts de Poche.
Committed to educational transmission,
ArteCombo is creating its own festivalacademy
in Normandy in 2024 after 6 years
