Brahms·Transcriptions Orchestre de Picardie

Informations

Is it possible to orchestrate two pieces by Brahms originally intended for small ensembles? This is the challenge that Henk de Vlieger has decided to take up with his transcriptions for orchestra of the Piano Sonata No. 1 and the Quintet in F minor. Performed by the Orchestre de Picardie and its conductor, Arie van Beek, this is a unique version of Brahms' masterpieces, which remain little known to the general public.
