Winner of many prizes in international violin competitions, Jean-Jacques Kantorow devotes a large part of his life to an international career which takes him to the worlds' leading venues as both conductor and violinist.
Everywhere he has received unanimous praise: Glenn Gould called him one of the greats of the violin, a "staggering" talent, and the most original violinist of his generation that he has heard.
Jean-Jacques has been director of several well known orchestras.
He has recorded more than 160 discs for such important labels as DENON, EMI, CBS,BIS etc... Many of his recordings have received international awards.
