Born in 1999, Emmanuelle Demuyter discovered her passion for singing as a member of the children’s choir of the Toulon Opera. She continued her training in the Advanced Department for Young Singers at the Paris CRR, studying first with Doris Lamprecht and then with Florence Guignolet. She had the opportunity to perform several roles at the Salle Gaveau, including Adèle in Le Concert à la cour by Auber, as well as Zerlina and Barbarina in a concert dedicated to Mozart and Da Ponte. With the Orchestre Colonne, she sang the role of Rosalinde in Die Fledermaus by Johann Strauss.
Emmanuelle is currently studying at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Lyon (CNSMD de Lyon) in the class of Mireille Delunsch. In March 2025, she will perform the role of the Cunning Little Vixen in Janáček’s opera at the CNSM, under the direction of Philippe Forget.
In 2024, Emmanuelle performed with the Orchestre National de Lyon, notably singing the arias of the Queen of the Night from Mozart’s The Magic Flute. Her career has led her to interpret several roles at festivals, including Marie in Donizetti’s La fille du régiment, Mireille in Gounod’s Mireille, La Folie in Rameau’s Platée, and Constance in Poulenc’s Dialogues des Carmélites.
Deeply committed to promoting the repertoire of women composers, she takes a particular interest in figures such as Elsa Barraine, Mel Bonis, and Marguerite Canal. She has further developed this work through a masterclass with Anne Le Bozec, organized by Présence Compositrices. In 2026, she will be heard at the Sylvanès Festival, the Théâtre de Sens, the Solliès-Pont Festival, and in La prière by Antonin Artaud set to music by Élise Bertrand, with the Orchestre Colonne conducted by Marc Korovitch, in April at the Salle Gaveau.
