Julien Dieudegard

After completing his studies at the Paris Conservatoire (CNSM), where he was awarded First Prizes in violin (class of Régis Pasquier) and chamber music (class of Jean Mouillère) in 1997, Julien Dieudegard pursued further training in the United States with Eduard Schmieder, in Italy with Salvatore Accardo, and at the Lyon Conservatoire (CNSM) with Pavel Vernikov and Roland Daugareil.

A prizewinner at the Budapest, Douai, and Brescia International Violin Competitions (2001–2002), as well as at the Trieste International Chamber Music Competition and the ARD Competition in Munich (2007) with the Trio Cérès, he has since performed in France and in more than 25 countries worldwide.

Since 2006, he has focused on long-term artistic projects, notably with the Quatuor Béla, deeply committed to 20th-century repertoire, contemporary music, and new creations.

His discography includes Miniatures in recital with Jonas Vitaud, Trio Cérès: Fauré, Ravel, Hersant, Métamorphoses nocturnes – Ligeti (4F Télérama – Grand Prix Charles Cros), Plier/Déplier (Grand Prix Charles Cros), Jadayel (Quatuor Béla + Sabîl–IMA), Debussy, Magnard (Diapason d’Or), among others.

Julien joined the Karénine Trio in October 2023.
