Full of joy and energy, violinist Émeline Concé thrives in chamber music. A member of the ECMA (European Chamber Music Academy), she has been mentored by Hatto Beyerle and Johannes Meissl and studied at the Paris Conservatoire (CNSMDP) in the classes of Svetlin Roussev and Vladimir Mendelssohn.
In 2011, she co-founded the Akilone Quartet, with which she won First Prize at the 8th International String Quartet Competition of Bordeaux in 2016, as well as the ProQuartet Prize. With the quartet, she performs in France, across Europe, and in Japan. Émeline also enjoys playing in other ensembles, notably with violist Gabrielle Lafait, with whom she has formed the Svadistana Duo since 2011. She has also had the pleasure of collaborating at festivals with many artists such as Anne Le Bozec, Alain Meunier, Gérard Caussé, Pierre Foucheneret, Louis Rodde, Flore Merlin, and Violaine Despeyroux.
Deeply committed to sharing music, Émeline delights in bringing it to diverse audiences and settings (prisons, hospitals, addiction treatment centers, schools, refugee centers, etc.) through concerts, presentations, and workshops, notably with Concerts de Poche and Musethica.
Émeline also finds great joy in orchestral playing. She has been Principal Second Violin of the Orchestre Lamoureux since 2012 and has been regularly invited to hold the same position with the Orchestre National de Lille since 2022. In 2023, she was pleased to join the Orchestre de Chambre de Paris as a section violinist.
